Inspired by Mail Art, 1920’s Exquisite Corpse collaborations and art happenings, “The Tower” will be a group exhibition of artists working from a printed image provided by Arts Gowanus. You know it, you love it – the water tower. This Brooklyn-centric image and the iconic logo of Arts Gowanus will be the starting point for each artist in this exhibition, from there it’s up to every artist to create an artwork from that image.
