December is a focal month of celebration, hope and gathering for many people. This year there is an additional dimension of safety. The Parasol project series harnesses the different colors of the season, treated with venetian plaster in my distinct process. The parasol gives us “shelter” or a “shield” stemming from“Para” in Latin. The interplay of figurative shapes and colors lend an optimistic view to the year ahead.
